Yeah that's what I am concerned about, but at least I saved something. Should I be concerned that I only saved a little?
I got a board that was in like new condition so I'm guessing it wasn't used any longer than a month.
Was it worth it to save about $10 by buying a like new setup instead of a brand new setup?

I do not think my PC will really be on the same table as the CNC machine. But I'll see about that SSD, I'm just peaky with Chinese quality.

Also how do I convert the file that I attached to g code.

I attached a file of an enclosure that I want to cut out of wood using a router CNC, not a laser CNC because the services are expensive and I have access to a router CNC so I can do it all by myself.

Hi

Afraid your zip is corrupted, can't open it.

What you probably want is dxf2gcode
code.google.com/p/dxf2gcode/

I have had good results with SheetCAM. I am not clear if you are meant to pay for the Linux version or not:

It doesn't matter as long as I can use it on Windows and transfer it to Linux.
I used a CAM software already and it did not work. Maybe I did something wrong?
It didn't generate every line, and whatever it did do, I didn't get that to convert to G-Code.

I used Pycam.

I attached the drawing files again.

Well, the demo version of SheetCAM is limited, but the Linux version doesn't seem to be.
It has a LinuxCNC post. (In fact, Les is frequently seen about these parts)

Do you guys have access to the drawing I attached?

Maybe you can convert it for me to G-Code?

Thanks.

I compressed it to zip using winrar and tried opening it on another computer with winrar installed and it worked fine on Windows.

Maybe you can try to install winrar real quick or I can upload the files to a website (idk which one though) that you can download from.
