You have to set ethernet0 to a static address. 10.10.10.2. edit the DHCP file.

I have gotten movement in X and Y axis. Iv added the spindle code that was posted earlier in the thread. When I turn the spindle on . The output at VSO is 1v, when I increase by one it goes straight to 9v. I'm I missing something with the scaling ?

First step is to check using halshow and directly set the pin value.

setp remora.sp.0 0 and 100.

This should correspond to 0V and 10V. If that is working ok then it is the hal configuration that needs work.

Nope, that is the reply from the PC, not from the board connected to it, reply time to short at ~0.05
Set the PC address to 10.10.10.11 or whatever number at the end, just not 10.

IP is OK, netmask does not matter but for 10.n.n.n is usually 255.0.0.0 or /8, gateway can be empty or 10.10.10.1 not 11.
Still should work, but seems there is nothing connected to it, so what does
ip a
in a terminal return?

Got that with this setup

Some networks cards do not work correctly if the appropriate firmware is not installed in Linux.
The second problem may be your cable. Do you use network switch or router? If not, you should use crossed cable.
But this is common Linux problem, described in many places in the Internet, not the Linuxcnc or Remora specific.

Not connected to anything, try another cable, directly from PC to the board.
Most new stuff works with any kind of cable, but this might need a "cross" cable, not sure as i never used Remora boards.
