#Armbian.23.02.0 SMP PREEMPT_RT Sat Feb 25 12:29:31 UTC 2023Looks like you have not installed the debs I shared. Its trying to load RTAPI
What does uname -v say? needs to say PREEMPT_RT.
Also in the plasmac docs it refers to a script for QTVCP dependencies.. Run it and it should come up when you sort out the kernel
I did do the .debs upload I will try again.

Just wondering if you built linuxcnc from source or not? If configure was wrong, it might grab RATPI
I used the Bookworm debs...

For those following along here, we have made some progress and have been creating a PREEMPT_RT image but I am not ready to share yet.
I have had linuxcnc up and running on Debian Bookworm along with probe-basic, qtpyvcp, ethercat and a Mesa card.
Latency seems to be very good and well improved on previous runs.
I've had some issues with building a image with the a Graphical environment. It seems OK until i add isolcpus to the boot process and then it hangs fairly regularly. Installing XFCE from the Debian Bookworm repositories solves it. So there is a bit more experimenting to do around that and then I need to learn a bit more about the Armbian build environment extensions which should allow me to include all of the extras I listed above in the boot image preinstalled.

Awesome work!
Is there a working image available yet?
How can the GPIO be configured for LCNC?
