Get the Mesa 7i85, without the S.
And THCAD5 or 10 and 2 of 1MOhm/2W resistors, it is most probably a HF/HV pilot start plasma, and 300 is not recomended for those, although i am sure it works, i have several of those in daily use.
For power supplies, 5V and 24V, both at 5A should do just fine, MeanWell or Delta preferably.

Hey Tom good day to you, my names Tom as well BTW
(theres never enough Toms on the job! haha)
So THCAD5 would be for a divider board with a 0-5v range and thc10 would be for a divider board with a 0-10v range correct? So I will need to see what the voltage output of the divider board on my hypertherm is if there is one or purchase a divider board and wire it up to the raw arc voltage correct? I apologize for bugging you guys with so many questions but I really don't want to order the wrong components so it is very much appreciated.

Do you have the HT200 plasma?
It should have a divider, so try to find the service manual for it, Hypertherm had those always available on their website, but not anymore, now they want money for documents, but still not much, so at least they are not greedy.
Have you looked inside the HT200?
Get the THCAD5 if available, with added resistors it works with any divider or raw voltage.

Yes I have the ht2000 I briefed threw the manual did not see anything about voltage divider. I'm going to give a try calling hyperherms tech support. I asked them a few questions before and they were pretty helpful guy was telling me about how he took part in developing the system. I'm shifting the project slightly into a new direction. I decided because I have 50 foot of rails I am going to take 30 of the feet and build a overhead gantry that will ride on the rails to load and unload plate steel. I am going to set these rails parallel to the gantry rails. I really like this idea because down the road it would be very easy to convert the gantry to being powered and possibly even CNC. I can use the gear track on the rails to move the gantry in the y axis. I will need to figure something out for the x and z axis but I figured I could program it to pick up the plate steel and set it down all automatically, avoiding the danger of moving the plate steel with a crane by hand. It would also potentially be possible to hook up a electro magnet to pick pieces off the table all cnc. I found one example of somebody doing it. youtube.com/shorts/DvBW-bO678k?si=3gM8novCpRZhSCEu

Yeah, that with the CNC crane is very good, i asked a client of mine a few years back about that, he stared at me as his crane is 40X15 meters and 8 meters high. Had to ask him twice and still he was not convinced i can do that.
DO IT!

Thanks yea I posted on a few Facebook groups asking people about it and they thought I was nuts but to me it makes perfect sense. A large gantry is the exact same as a plasma table. Cartesian coridinates XYZ what gets complicated is when you start to introduce a 6 axis robot with kinematics. What do you think of controlling it using the same controller as the plasma table? Is linux cnc capable of that many axis? It's gonna be interesting making a post processor to run this whole deal. I figure even just driving the crane around with the teach pendant would be handy but what would be even cooler is to have a auto part puller set up. It's a ways away I still haven't even set the table up I need to basicly reorganize the whole shop move the saw lines and lots of other heavy equipment but have been staying up late every night with a tape measure a can of spray paint chain smoking planning different set ups to optimize material flow threw the building. Seems yah can't win 100% every set up has its strengths and weaknesses. I got off the phone with hypertherm earlier they said that the ht2000 has a raw arc voltage output on the io board. Would the thc 5 work well for raw arc voltage?

Yes it would work, just get a bunch of 1MOhm resistors 2W each, at least 6 to be on the safe side, should be very cheap.

Little update to the cnc plasma.
Red box DVD rental is going out of service and I was able to grab one from infront of a dollar general. Talked to the managers and they said go right ahead. My plan is to use the redbox for the enclosure aswell as it came with tons of components. It has a industrial grade touch screen computer monitor. A lenovo windows 7 pc. Do you think this computer would be a good Canidate to install Linux on? Some 5 wire stepper motors. A 24v power supply. About 4 foot of high quality linear rail. Infrared camera. A nice apc unit. What are your thoughts on all of this? What do you think of the 5 wire stepper and driver? Any chance of easily controlling them? It also has a 110v heater and a ac unit. I don't think I will use either of them except for the fan on the ac unit but might be a good idea. My shop has many holes in the roof literally a water fall and in the winter it gets about 45 degrees. To expensive to heat it more.

Case is very nice, PC should be good (i have a similar looking one, works perfectly for Mesa), 5 phase steppers are nice as they vibrate less but also have less torque and yours seem to be the 5000 step per revolution ones!!! Damn, those are nice for some precise stuff. Vexta should be easy to find info on them, although lately google is failing miserably to find anything.
Power supply should do just fine, just do not expect record braking speed.
