Toma/Proma HAL for Mesa Board -Basics

Gave Mesa a call and PCW answered the phone; that's awesome but perhaps speaks to the size of the community. I'd like to donate to the cause but haven't found a way in which to do that, not that I looked hard.

Red light issue isn't actually an issue, goes away when I start up linuxcnc.

However, I've go through and commented out the estop lines in the machine HAL and still can't disengage the estop in axis... Suggestions?

I must be doing something wrong. I rebuilt my config and was able to remedy the problem of not being able to disengage the estop, but now I can't toggle it at all; on top of this I still haven't solved the problem of how to jog my machine. What am I doing wrong?

error pops up "hm2/hm2_7i96.0: Error finishing write! 58288 (89,90,91,92)

It's past midnight, I may need to home the machine before I can start jogging like PCW and I talked about.

That error points to a lost connection due to cable disconnection or loss of power to the board.

That's concerning, I double checked the connections and I didn't find any reason for the card to throw that error.

At any rate, I'm having a bit of trouble integrating the Toma halfiles into my existing INI/HAL from my table. I really need this table working three weeks ago... I'd prefer to pay someone to compile this build and directly help troubleshoot. Had I weeks more to learn all the systems I would be happy, and will be happy to when time isn't a factor.

What exactly are you having trouble with?
There are some things that need to be edited, namely, the ini file needs to have hal files added the thc.hal and pyvcp hal, pyvcp xml, Z axis section needs to have a big ferror set. Also the thc.hal file needs to have joint.2.xxxxx.cmd and joint.2.xxx.fb connected properly.

Did you have the table working already with a normal configuration?
