that is actually a form of BCD, I am not sure how the carousel component would handle that however. More interestingly the strobe has a index switch time for position 1.

the scope log keeps saving blank, not sure why, I put a screen shot of the scope values above

That's straight binary (which is what BCD looks like for small numbers)

Looking only when strobe is true:
3 2 1
0 1 0 = 2
0 1 1 = 3
1 0 0 = 4
1 0 1 = 5
1 1 0 = 6

so set the coding to binary ? I was looking at that thinking rolling binary value, my turret has 6 positions, is this going to be a issue ?

hmm... no idea, it was 4 years ago, but
leave as is and test, if it does not work, invert and test.

test tomorrow, appreciate the feedback. I am looking at or2 right now for my coolant pump VFD turn on, it's amazing what you can do with a bit of extra motor speed, so much more flow volume avaibale from 20% more speed.
