Mesa 5i25 config for chinese BOB

take a look at the .pin files in the 5i25 distribution zip file
These show all the available configuration pinouts

5i25_g540x2.pin
5i25_hdbb2.pin
5i25_mx3660x2.pin
5i25_prob_rfx2.pin
5i25_r990x2.pin

are likely suspects

I'll give 5i25_hdbb2.pin a go right now and I;ll let ya know..

PCW, I flashed it all ok but it's not comming up in the firmware for pcnconfig. I'mm using linuxcnc 2.7, do I have to copy some file over to a sub dir or something..?

I dont think you can use pncconf,
you will have to take a close pncconf created config
or a standard linuxcnc sample config as a starting point
and do the rest by editing the hal/ini files

I'll give that a go. If I fail Imm gona switch to a 7i76E I have on the side.. I'll have to dig up some docs on creating HAL & INI files for linuxCNC. It's just a lot of work to re-wire all the setup for the ethernet... I was hoping someone might have a similar setup with config files.

Takee the r990 conect du the outer Port and config your pins with pncconf
Thats all what i have done
The rest ist a little bit of testinig i spend a lot of teime here to find nothing out


I know i5 gives a lot of peope how can help but sorry there is mist time only one how wants. The rest are only steamtalker linux could be a great System but the menthality of the KNOWING people is so i know it an you can study
