When I connect the BOB to P2 the 7i76e will halt = NO LED's CR13 goes out!

Is this W12 to be changed? Pins 18-to 25 are ground in pport db25 so I do not get this.

This option should only be enabled
for Mesa breakout boards or boards specifically wired to accept 5V power on DB25 pins
22 through 25. When the option is disabled DB25 pins 22 through 25 are grounded.
Jumper W7 controls the power option on P1, W12 controls the power option on P2.

Yes, If you don't change those jumpers the 5v supply will be shorted out when you connect an ordinary parallel port card. (Hopefully you didn't damage anything.)

W12 was in UP position. Now in DOWN position 7i76e works OK with the BOB
