1. Yes under the general tab I have "connect automatically with priority" checked. But priority is set to default zero. I dont know if its important but im also connected via wi-fi for the internet.

2. Under the IPv4 setting tab should anything be in the DSN Servers box?

3. The board is powered with 24v to TB1 and TB3 and the W3 jumper is in the UP position.

4. When powered up I get the three green flashing lights that flash and go off and the two yellow that remain constant.

5. When I ping 10.10.10.10 I just get this repeating:

PING 10.10.10.10 (10.10.10.10) 56(84) bytes of data.
From 10.10.10.1 icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable

Did you power cycle the 7I76E after moving W3?

Do you get link lights on the 7I76E's RJ45 connector?

The only lights i have on constant is what appears to be CR8 and CR13.

When i power up CR1 blinks yellow, CR2 red, CR4/5/6 green then all off.

And I have a yellow and green lights on the RJ45 connector.

When I perform a flash I get:
mmarmino@debian:~$ mesaflash --device 7i76e --readhmid
No 7I76E board found

OK so if you have yellow and green lights on the RJ45, the interface should be "up"

Heres what I get on my Ethernet connection:

2: eno1: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP group default qlen 1000
link/ether ec:b1:d7:6c:a2:da brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 10.10.10.100/8 brd 10.255.255.255 scope global eno1
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever

OK that's expected, you would need:

mesaflash --device 7i76e --addr 10.10.10.10 --readhmid

BTW, the ping times are pretty dismal, what is the host hardware?

Yes CPU type.

Also if you have a Intel Ethernet chip you need to set a driver option
