7i96S card setup issues -- board discovery & red LED

I am still soldering up some remaining wiring connections. I will pursue getting my Buster 2.8.4 updated to 2.10 hopefully sometime soon, maybe early this week.

I got the upgrade done from 2.8.2 to 2.10-pre and it was pretty much quick and painless, and my plasma options showed up again during the PNCconf wizard, and I got a complete setup, and a working copy of LinuxCNC! Woohoo!  I got it working in two profiles, one with with Axis and one with Gmoccapy. 

But now my real question is about my THCAD2 being missing in the THCAD dropdown on the MESA THCAD page.

In reply to your instruction here on this thread though...

On that page (MESA Card 0, the one that shows TB3, and TB1/TB2), I have Encoder 0 set to "Plasma Encoder -> Arc Voltage"

According to my tutorial I am following, that is the correct setting. I don't anywhere on the page for choosing THCAD.

On the next page, for MESA THCAD, is where the dropdown only offers 3 choices, 5, 10, 300, while the MESA store offers 4 choices, 2, 5, 10, and 300, and I have the 2.

The THCAD2 can be set for 5V FS or 10V FS depending on jumpering.
Dougs setup with the external 2.4M resistor will end up having 250V full scale

Thank you! I'm studying the User Manual to check the jumpers and to try to get my head around the values. For the THCAD settings in PNCconf, does this look right?

With the added resistor you have the equivalent of a THCAD10 with a
divider ratio of 25
