I forgot to add, if you have to use 7i84 in the field, then you would need to pass Field voltage, which should already be there, and a cat 5 cable for each 7i84 and stick connectors on both ends. control panel end goes to 7i74 the other well, plugs into the 7i84.

Oh and, I have a Biesse 346 with three spindles with only one VFD. It gets selected and routes the moptor cables through the contactor but I think you said you had an aggregate saw which doesnt use the vfd. Like the drill bank there is a motor, through a contactor. You just need to turn on the motor ir drill bank motor contactor via a relay. It is already wired. Thats the beauty, you don't need to tear apart the machine, you just have to deal with the I/O's everything else is already done for you. You need this on? Just fire a relay.

Back from the shop with news!

Despite having the RT480, the machine has those rs485 modules if I'm not mistaken. I have located all of them (numbered 0 to 10, with 9 missing in schematics as well). Several pictures attached.

While locating all the modules in the machine, I verified the schematics I have. They're all spot on, which is great. I'll scan them, but I probably shouldn't upload them, for like, copyright issues?

The milling spindles do seem identical and I have a 90° milling aggregate too. Will have to check the schematics, but I bet the VFD drives both.

Unfortunately both the lower and upper guards of the Z spindle have been broken for a long time. Hope the mechanical damage isn't too bad.
