Here is a video of a cnc foam cutter of the general design I have based mine on, it's in a foreign language so I don't
know what it says. That said it should give anyone a general idea of how they work. I will be taking some video of mine
over the weekend and posting it soon. For now Enjoy this video by Bussard2Falke

Not much info, just thanking people that helped him.
Cute and functional design for small ones, for sure.

Very true. I am curious how well the design scales up. I am sure the linear rails would need to be bigger to prevent
sagging mid travel. Hilariously I think the general design would prove beneficial for large 3D printers since the moving
mass stays the same unlike bed slinger designs.

Video time.
This is more or less a summary video of my machine currently.  I do move the axis around but that is about it.
I don't cut any foam in this one . I still have to finish calibrating it and hooking up the homing and end limit switches.
For now though enjoy this video

Today I had some time to do some test cuts. Sooo worth the effort . Only a few photos today.
I will be taking some video tomorrow. No it's not linuxCNC yet. and I have one more system to test
before I do. I am curious how well Marlin works for simple robots running G-Code. For now
enjoy the pics.

video update.  This time I do an airfoil cut . Unfortunately I ran the Cutting wire a bit too cold and the air foil came out
a bit out of shape. That said it gives a good idea of how the whole thing works.

another update video.
I am still running this on GRBL 5X but that's because I am trying to configure the simplest setup possible
So far this is version 1 and I am working on the cad models for Verion 2.though that isn't shown in this video.

Videos getting very enjoyable, thank you.
Reminds me, i have to send some big wing designs to the owner of a 2x1x1 meter big foam cutter i built probably 15 years ago, what wing span would be OK for 2 of 2212 motors with 10" props, 2 bladed ones?
Must use the pink foam, that or the plain white one, no other types here.
