Well thank you all my Syil SX3 is up and running.
The only thing that I don't have running is the spindle but I can use that in manual mode at the machine.
The difference between LinuxCNC and Mach3 is night and day, Linux is much more stable.
Ordering a Messa card today I think, LinuxCNC is a little slower and I would like to add some more functionality to
my machine. It still only runs with a base period of 43000 and it's beginning to sound like the ability to control
the charge pump with the PP and LinuxCNC on these machines is a common problem.
Is there a place to post the ini files etc on this forum to help others to get their Syil machines set up,
I'm sure it would have made it faster and easier for me to have a listing of various machines and basic set ups.
Thank s,
Mark

Once you have it polished up just attach a zip file of it and I'll add it to the config picker.
Also add a README file describing the config if you don't mind.

Was this information added to LinuxCNC anywhere? I'm about to embark on changing over to LinuxCNC for my Syil SX3 Mill. I got the unit out of storage and the harddrive has died so time to delv into LinuxCNC since I don't remember how to use Mach3!
Thanks.

Mark are you still using this Syil SX3 with LinuxCNC? Did you post the ini files or have them available still? I would like to try getting my Syil SX3 mill working.
Thanks.
