Is that really 1024x768? Seems surprising, but then I guess the iPhone is ;-)

That should be fine, though needs to be mounted somewhere.

Now my unique concern is that this monitor and touch screen is compatible with LinuxCNC.

As long as it is compatible with Linux then it will work with LinuxCNC.

Ok. The touchscreen is full compatible with linux

The vendor say me that d525mw is a product discontinued but that they can offerted me the motherboard d525mwve that is the same only with support to LVDS interface monitor.

Don't worry I write in this thread the results of testing of new mainboard joint with monitor and touchscreen. In a month aprox or less I will have results.

I have connected my touch screen but I need do any changes in the configuration of kernel with make menuconfig and recompile the kernel. How I can do it in linuxcnc?

You need to patch the kernel for the touchscreen? That seems rather excessive.

yes I have download the driver for linux from home.eeti.com.tw/web20/eGalaxTouchDriver/linuxDriver.htm and in the guide say that use make menuconfig for activate EVDEV UINPUT and HIDRAW and rebuild my kernel to make it effect
