				Hi There,
I am fitting 3 Heidenhain EXE 602 to a Maho700 Milling machine and using a Esson ES14 DRO (eventually heading to the Linux System) I can get the X Axis to read the correct distance but the X and Y Axis only read 25mm but travel 50mm. I have 2 options in the DRO for resolution 0.005 & 0.001. When set at 0.005 and physical travel of 50mm the DRO displays 125mm & Setting of 0.001 physical travel of 50mm DRO Displays 25mm.
Is there anything that I am Missing?
Thanks Brad

I suspect your scale grating period is different.Check your scale type.
It could be 40um.
If scale grating period is 20um and with EXE602 5x multiplier you will get 1um resolution.
To get 1um resolution with a 40um scale grating pitch you will require a 10x multiplier
