hi grandixxmo, any further development on the 9D S-curve branch?
what is the area of testing we need to look at.
If we can setup some direction, we will get multiple volunteers to help check the work that is already done.

It's been reworked by YangYang, 9D branch will probably be abandoned, in favor of whatever YangYang comes up with, it's loosely based on my work form 9D branch. What we are working on now internally, which I was going to talk in the next meeting, is a pre-processing library, as we are testing Yangyang's TP2 internally before release, we found that the last few jerk spikes were caused by segments that are shorter than a cycle time, there is just no time to do proper calculations on them, the pre-processing will be a toggle in the INI file, the library will be called Liscio, also renaming Ruckig to Scatti cause that's what we talked about with smoe in the mailing-list, and YangYang can't pronounce Ruckig image missing /media/kunena/emoticons/laughing.png
Anyway Liscio will create a smooth path with NURBS, still early stages, would love some test gcodes from the community, so we can kink out most issue internally before release.
There is precedence commercially with Fanuc I believe, they are doing similar work, probably others as well.

I'm not really in a position to do any testing on hardware right now (I no longer work in a router shop.) but I can offer links to some G-code that I used in the past to help with testing the circular arcs tool planner when it was being developed. They are some 2.5-D V-groove engraving tool paths. They are in inches and need to have approximately +/- 0.003 of precision in the movements to look good. The first file is only XYZ moves, the 2nd file has XYZW to run a 2nd engraving spindle on a 2 headed router.

I'll attach one simple spiral planing operation gcode file. In my machine this brought up the toolpath blending problems in tp1, I had to roll back into tp0 (haven't tried tp2 though). I could not get the machine to move smoothly, tried different blending settings but no help (tp0 blends this just fine). Unfortunately didn't have time to investigate any further but maybe simulation shows something?

new trajectory/gcode compressor for the future trajectory planner, testers wanted, feed your gcode to it, check the SVG output

This looks promising, nice work!

A couple of quick tries, sometimes the compressor seems to output scientific notation on small decimals; ie. X-76.198 Y6.6066e-05. That and injected G0 X0 Y0 Z0 at the beginning are only things that pop up at the first tests.
