Hi andypugh,
I apologize for my ignorance, but what does that mean? This is all new to me and I'm trying to work my way through it.
If I set my x,y,z on my stock as my home; in this case the back left corner of the work piece, why does the program then disregard that?
I'm missing something?
BTW, yes the z axis starts at -.05
Thanks,
Steven

Home position has little to do with the G-code origin.
The home positions and home switches tell the machine where the physical ends of the axes are.
You use the "touch off" buttons in your GUI to set the (0,0,0) position for the G-code commands.
What is your Z axis min and max limits?
