l[strike]oaded on an old XP laptop. It worked.
What commands do I send it??[/strike]

Checked out numerous softwares and none are easy enough for me to manage ;-(

How about SpindleTalker2 ? That seems to be a popular little application used to give you a go/no-go chekup on the Huanyang VFDs on Windows.

curtisa Thank You very much. It took a bit to get my old XP laptop to get it to run, but persistence seems to have succeeded - on many fronts.
