Mounting the Camera Was the Easy Part

Routed the 30' of cable through the router, mounted to spindle super legit style. Go to install camera like it's Windows 10 and get slapped with a big dose of NOPE for three days now.

Been trying to get the CamPY zip from Bogey to work using this thread

So far the only thing I've been able to do is manually download and install the usbutils from the Debian archive to see if it's even plugged in. Whenever I try to apt-get anything it just gives 404's not found or missing dependancies. I tried to update the source list and Debian said there are no suitable servers, at least in the US. How do I install anything if every repository address is wrong?

Running Weezy

you do not need any software or driver
if it is a USB cam it shoudt be fine out of the box
just start chees from a therminal and get a look at your cameras view

it is even more easy as in windooooof
you may have now complicated it as you did harme the alredy installed drivers
WITH closed Chees
and under DISPLAY in your ini
EMBED_TAB_NAME = Camera
EMBED_TAB_COMMAND = camview-emc -w {XID}

restart Linuxcnc and thats it

It doesn't look like Chees is even installed on the machine. Can't get USB wifi stick to install either so I have to lug the whole machine up front to connect via ethernet to try. Currently trying to find an extra router to extend range to the back.

Edit: Trying to install chees this is what I get

xxx@cnc:~$ sudo apt-get install chees
[sudo] password for xxx:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package chees

Is there a way to manually download cheese from the web? I cannot find it anywhere in the wheezy repository. Tried installing cheese-common and it also cannot be found.
