Anybody using a thermal dynamics CM 52? was created by TexasCNC
Been using this machine but can’t seem to get it dialed in I have dry air and new consumables but some reason the cutting charts on manual has the voltage high for the THC. Any out there using this machine with a proma THC?

I am getting bevel cuts on pretty much every settings on machine and thc. On 40 amp with 75psi all consumables are oem brand. Just want to see what people are using with this setup

Also if I set the cut height to .19 per manual and do the same on the plasma config tab on axis GUI. Wouldn’t that change if I am setting the THC voltage to say 94 volts wouldn’t that move the cut height lower or higher to have it 94v? And when it’s cutting the voltage is never 94v I see where it’s trying to stay at 94v but mostly is like plus or minus 5v from my set voltage is there way to keep it tighter like maybe plus or minus 2 volts?

Yes, set the Proma THC as per manual to 1v+- i think it was, also the DT to minimum.

Ok I will do that thanks... and what about setting the height? Do I need to set it even though I am setting the voltage?

For PlasmaC Mode 2 (External THC) then the Cut Height in the Cut Parameters will only be valid from the start of the cut until the external THC takes control. So you still should set it so the cut begins at the correct height.

I didn't realise you were using a Proma for your THC when I answered your question on another thread.Ok I will do that thanks... and what about setting the height? Do I need to set it even though I am setting the voltage?

Have a look in the .ini file in the [PLASMAC] section there should be MODE = 2
