Could you still check with Halshow as Rod suggested, as spindle.0.at-speed not being True will cause the issue you describe. Thanks for the reply. I was just looking into this and you are correct, my HAL does not have any of the spindle vars.

Yep, 100%.
I get Orange Torch ON, then Green Arc OK, then no movement.

EDIT: I take that back. Tried making a new design with the included extras tab after that run and its doing the same arc start no movement thing again.
Scratch that. Did a computer and mainboard power cycle and it working as it should now.
No other changes. Not sure what happened but its working. Thanks everyone for the input!

I think my issue is coming down to the realtime flag. When im running Mozilla looking at this forum it will exhibit the behavior im seeing, it finally threw a watchdog flag also.
with mozilla closed it seems to be working fine.

Have you done a thorough latency-histogram test.
Something here may help. www.forum.linuxcnc.org/plasmac/39317-watchdog-has-bit#171364
latency-histogram --nobase --sbinsize 1000

Thanks for the link. Looks like my Eth card doesnt support IRQ Coalescing, might need to get a new PCI card. Anyone have one they recommend?
david@dave4606:~$ sudo ethtool -c eth1
Coalesce parameters for eth1:
Cannot get device coalesce settings: Operation not supported

If its not supported, its probably OK
What CPU and Motherboard do you have?
Do you have all power management and C states > C1 disabled? (in the BIOS)
Do you have idle=poll in the kernel command line?
