What do you have pin 27 set to though? You won't need the remote if you have it under linuxcnc control. It may only accept one or the other. Do you have a digital copy of the manual you can post?

It does look like the drive can be programmed to accept ENA (Start) and DIR (Reversing)
But the 0 to 10V needs to be sorted out, As Tommylight mentioned. this is likely a wiring
error or possibly the VFD cannot supply the approximately 8 mA the 7I76Es potentiometer
simulator needs.

I try to change the parameters from the pins and check .hal file.
Pin 27 is on default setting "reset and coasting inverse".
attached the VFD Manual, sorry i had to cut the pdf in pieces.
Its the VLT 2875 model.
