Need help in selecting the right board for CNC machine

You can use the Ethernet-connected boards with the RPi4. (not with Rpi3, though)

For example, the 7i92. However that needs breaking-out to the stepper drivers and input protection (as does the 7c81) so perhaps something like a 7i96S would be more convenient.
