I don't see a 12 pin. Inputs go from 000 to 010. Everything else is output.

I don't see a 12 pin. Inputs go from 000 to 010. (You might get this twice. I thought I had sent it but it didn't show up.)

TB3 pin 12 is the common for inputs 0..10 (TB3 pins 1..11)

Its a physical pin that determines input operation.
Inputs will not work unless is is connected properly

OK I guess I will have to take the board down. I have been running this exact set up for a year. What do I put on the #12 pin?

TB3 pin 12 is the input common

If the input devices supply positive voltages to the 7I96 inputs
(PNP type sensors or limit switches with one pin connected to a positive voltage)
the 7I96 input common would be grounded.

If the input devices ground the signal to the 7I96 inputs (NPN type sensors
or limit switches win one pin connected to ground), the input common
would be connected to +5 to +24V

I see that pin on pinout. I really don't don't think I have ever used that pin before but maybe I'm wrong.

OK thank you. I will pull the board out and ground that pin.

I installed the ground and it did not make any difference. It seems to me that the ground would only come into play on a probe trip. On the Hal Watch or whatever its called the probe is shown but when you go to the page that shows the red and yellow nothing is shown. I don't know if i programed it right. What i did was on tb3 pin 1 I selected external control and then probe in.
