First post should mention that LinuxCNC comes with a lot of working configs and a lot more of sims.
Anyone good at making gifs on how to use those configs? Should have:
Start LinuxCNC from menu
Navigate through config picker
Choose Yes when it asks to copy the config to ~/linuxcnc/configs folder
Use file explorer to edit those files, rename or copy, start by right clicking on the ini file and choosing the application > linuxcnc
