no, didn't know i was supposed to... :unsure:

just power-cycled it, and i get a new error. my guess is i picked a firmware with no PWM

Yes, a ST12 config would not have any PWMgens

Mesaflash should have printed a message that you need to power
cycle the board or used the "reload" command to use the new firmware

ok, i have LinuxCNC run!!!
i changed to svst8_4, same as the config i was loading, and it worked!!! now i just have to fine tune things
