new pnc.config won't load in linuxcnc

I'm sure this is a common problem.  I have mesa 5i25-7i77 in pci1-7i76 in pci2-and 7i64 serial(rj45) to 7i77 rs-422 expansion tb6.  After running through pnc.config. i tried opening the configuration in linuxcnc, and it just poped up the an error.  very lengthy error report so i apologize for the length.  I was hoping someone out there thats smarter then i am could tell me what is wrong with the configuration.

The important part seems to be this line:

CANNOT FIND FILE FOR:BigGrayBeast.hal

So it looks like you have a line somewhere in your ini or hal that tells the system to call up a file named "BigGrayBeast.hal" and that file does not seem to exist in your config folder.

i did see and correct that problem yeasterday then tried again and it said there was a problem with classicladder. So I made a new basix pnc.config. to see if i can get that going. it seems that i have a problem connecting proper to the boards. not sure what ones. seem that the 7i77 connects but 7i76e and 7i64 arent connecting.
here is the error message, wish it would let me copy just the debug info. my hal for the connections must be wrong, but im not sure where

./test4.hal:27: Pin 'hm2_5i25.0.7i77.0.0.input-00' does not exist

This means that the field-power to the 7i76 is not connected. The smart-serial part of the 7i76 is powered by the field power, so without field power the 7i76 GPIO won't show up.

Indicate that LinuxCNC did not find the 7I77s digital I/O section. (but did find the analog section and something
plugged into the 7I77s sserial expansion connector).  Do you have field power on the 7I77s orange connector?

I have 24v + on pin one and - on pin 8 of the orange connector. I have a 7i64 in the tb6 on the 7i77 from eithernet serial on the 7i64 plus a 7i76 on p2 of the 5i25. I also have 5v on tb1

Its in the right hand position to isolate it from the field power. I'm guessing I read that wrong and it should be in the right position so the 5v in powers both the logic and field 5v. w5 is in the right hand position. I'm thinking that the 7i76 will likely have the same problem once I get through the 7i77

W1 has nothing to do with logic power, it should be left in the default (left) position
