There has been a development sample fleshed out in Qtvcp, It needs more work to live up to the original's vision for sure.



I believe there may be one in Pyqtvcp too.

I tried to find as much about it as I could, here and on cnczone.

The qtvcp sample is available in master version of linuxcnc.
It needs lots of work to make it ready for prime time.
I would assist anyone who wishes to work on it as much as I can.

I'm just starting to learn about linuxcnc. The only controller I've used is the centroid acorn, of course with their software. So far I have been very impressed with how thorough their software is. Just using that and looking to try out linuxcnc, there seems to be lots of good interfaces, but they all seem to missing one or two of the key things I have gotten used to. This mixer proposal looked like it would fill in all of those gaps.

Well it's ,probably not for you then - it needs development time.

What gaps were you hoping to fill?

Probing cycles and and some type of intercon for making basic cam cycles

Which interface has those? Is it one that comes with the main install iso?

I am taking a break from everything to look at this thread. I also had to change my email, and I have spam filtering issues that need attention. So, I am sorry that I haven't replied to this thread.

It was cool to see Cmorley's work on the interface. As someone who only programs lowly Arduinos and does a bit of OpenProcessing, I know that a project like this is a massive undertaking. This is why I worked for so long before made the proposal, and tried to integrate as much feedback as I could.
