Update:
Internetverbindung steht.
Ich musste noch in diesem Wicd in den Preverence den Netzwerkadapter einstellen und nun habe ich eine Internetverbindung.
Danke tommylight für den nützlichen Tipp.

Um die 7i97 einzurichten, brauche ich da unbedingt Linuxcnc 2.9?
Aktuell hab ich die Version von Grotius am laufen.

Bei der Ersteinrichtung des 7I97 sollten Sie zuerst die 7I97-Firmware aktualisieren
und verwenden Sie dann die basic7i97 hal/ini-Dateien als Ausgangspunkt, um

So, mach ein update und upgrade fur die LinuxCNC, es gibt version 2.8.2 beim Buildbot:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install LinuxCNC
im terminal.
