Frage zu 7I96?

Hallo,
ich versuche jetzt die 7I96 mit Pncconf einzurichten. Ich bekomme sinngemäß die Meldung:
Ältere Karten brauchen eine Firmware, keine Firmware gefunden. Pncconf benutzt die
interne Firmware.
Wo bekomme ich die richtige Firmware her? Mit den Steuerungspc komme ich jetzt nicht mehr
ins www, weil die Karte ja am Netzwerkanschluß hängt?

You can ignore that message, it does not apply to the 7I96 or any current card.
Then when you get to the "Mesa Card 0" page select "7i96-Internal Data" for board name
and "7i96d" for firmware and then press "Accept component Changes"

 

Vielen Dank PCW für deine Antwort. In dem Menu für P3 kann man keine Kanäle für Handräder auswählen, ich komme auch nicht auf die Seite
mit External Controls und kann auch nicht auswählen: Ein Handrad für alle Achsen oder wie bei mir ein Handrad pro Achse? Kann mir da 
jemand helfen?

I dont think pncconf fully supports MPGs

To add a MPG encoder to TB3 on a 7I96, you would need to

1. use 7I96 firmware that supports MPG encoders on TB3,
like 7i96_inmd.bit
 
2. Connect the MPG encoder count pin  to motions jog
axis and or joint jog pins, something like:
(for 1 MPG controlling all joints.axis)

net jog-counts  hm2_7i96.0.inm.00.enc0-count 
net jog-counts joint.0.jog-counts axis.x.jog-counts
net jog-counts joint.1.jog-counts axis.y.jog-counts
net jog-counts joint.2.jog-counts axis.z.jog-counts

3. Other MPG setup
 The main MPG code can be taken from other MPG examples plus
pncconf may be able to set some of this up but does not support the
inm MPG encoder inputs, so that would require the above connections
at a minimum
