will compare them to IGUS and see which is more cost effective.
I think this cable should be suitable for my application, likely over kill.

Yes, that looks good for the job. Of course wire from the hardware store would probably also work for years too.
For connecting stepper motors I rather like the Neutrik speaker ( google for "SpeakON" ) connectors. 4 pole, rated for 20 amps, not very expensive and they have a good, solid, reliable feel.

Thank you for the info, I will check those out as I would like to get rid of the cheesy automotive crimps I am using now, they are working but look rather shoddy. Having connectors would be a bonus if I need to move things in the future.
