Hello,
I have install Linuxcnc-2.8.1-pi4.img on my pi4 4 Go.
.........

I prepared a SD image, downloadable at the following link:
Linuxcnc_2.8.1_5.10.25-rt35.img

is based on Linux raspberrypi 5.10.25-rt35-v7+ with PREEMPT_RT and LinuxCNC 2.8.1 installed following this link
Installing on Raspian10

I checked operation on Raspberry Pi 4 with 2GB and 4GB.
I don't have a Raspberry Pi 4 with 8GB, so I invite you to check if and how it works.

Initial test on RPi 8GB has USB and everything working using this image, thanks! Will add feedback if there's anything that comes up...

Note: Had to add "boot_delay=1" to config.txt after enabling RTC or it booted to rainbow screen, but everything else is great.

Hey everyone I finally have my machine built but I can't get LinuxCNC to run.
I thought I would try down loading a fresh image so followed this link Linuxcnc_2.8.1_5.10.25-rt35.img but it took me to lcnc_2.8.1_rt64.img file. I gave it a try seem so go good until I shut down and try to reboot then this happens. see image attached.
Any ideas on how to fix it or dose anyone have a good rpi4 image? I am using Mesa 7i96 and I just can't seem to get it to work.
I have re imaged it 3 time this happens every time after everything is installed and updated

The links indicated by me refer to images to be written directly on the sd card.
These images contain both the operating system and the LinuxCNC and therefore are directly usable.
It is advisable to upgrade to have a better system

Not really full on topic, so, kindly accept my apologies if too far off. But: on a pi4: why bother on an sd-card? It boots straight off USB! I have several Pi4s, all of them just boot off USB.
