Hi.
I set up my machine and everything worked for me, but there is a small problem: The direction of movement of the X-Axis is not up to standard.
Please tell me how to change the direction of movement of an axis on a machine? How to swap + and - places? The machine is assembled on an ASD-A2 EtherCat. System LinuxCNC 2.9.2.
I tried to configure the change using scale using the following code:
and changing the .ini
but the machine goes crazy and does not work normally.

There should be a SDO setting that tells the drive which direction to travel for positive travel. Consult your docs.

HI
In the .ini file,
SCALE = ..... positive the axis goes in one direction, if you put " - " in the other,
the number corresponds to the mm, or in, which the axis travels in one rotation

For stuff like rotation (CW, CCW) vs Forward/Reverse on the axis I would always go through the servo setup itself using the manufacturers software (here: asda soft). In fact, this is the first thing i always do.
