You might verify that the TB1 pin 3 STEP+ output measures close to 5V
when you invert the output.

The timing looks OK. (assuming the steptime is still 5000 = 5 usec)
I would think wiring, or maybe enable issues.

Yes, I got a brighter LED with hm2_7i96s.0.stepgen.00.step.invert_output set to true.

I thought I was losing my mind, so I pulled out an Arduino, loaded GRBL on it, connected GND, STEP, and DIR, and then used UGS to test; I just wanted to ensure nothing was broken. GRBL had no issues turning the motor.

So, it has to be either the 7i96s or my configuration; I am betting on my configuration. I get that the glowing LED means STEP instructions are getting to the driver, but are the signals in the correct range/frequency?

The 13 ms ping delay is not caused by a power issue (the 7I92 cannot
restart in 13 ms, it it loses power it will take about 1 second to recover),
The delay is most likely caused by some power management running on the host PC.
If this cannot be discovered and changed on the host PC it may be that that
PC is not suitable for real time use.

leave it on for at least half hour while doing stuff on the PC and post the screenshot.

Hi,
is anyone familiar with the Leadshine EL8 series AC drives? The drive looks very capable for its price, but apparently, it is only designed to be used with Leadshine motors. 

Has anyone tried to run it with some other AC servo motor (with a compatible encoder)? I guess this boils down to how freely the drive can be parametrized. Maybe someone using the drive could share some information on this?

ja je nach Maschine kann das schon relativ komplex werden. Aber Schaltpläne sind schonmal ne gute Voraussetzung, ansonsten müssten halt passende Eingans/-Ausgangskarten ausgewählt und verdrahtet werden, sobald es an die Software/Konfiguration geht kann das Forum hier wieder gut unterstützen. Aus welcher Ecke kommst du denn ungefähr?

If I do not comment out the end of the line, I get en error, that xpos-cmd, ypos-cmd and so on already have an Input (in my AXIS.hal).
I do not know, what values z_level_compensation.x-pos, z_level_compensation.y-pos . . . should get. Possibly the value of xpos-cmd, ypos-cmd and so on or axis.x.pos-cmd . . .?
I decided to use the values of my coordinate system, not the machine coordinate system, like the values in the "probe_points.txt".
May be it's wrong?

Now, what is the "servo_period" set to in the ini file?
Must be 1000000 (1 million) normally.
And just in case, is the Mesa wired directly to PC?

I have a MEANWELL 5V power supply.
The output voltage at the power supply is measured at 5.06V
The input voltage VIN on the 7i92 is measured at 5.03V

The power supply also feeds the power supply of the 7i76 at the same time.
The input voltage VIN (on contacts TB3 21/23 Jumper W2 rigth hand) 7i76 is measured at 5.02V
