I was checking in Linuxcnc system, and the observation was there is no /dev/i2c-1 even if i create it couldn't be read and shows "no such devices or address".

Is it possible to get it ?

What are all the process ?

What am i doing wrong ?

Without seeing (uart) logs it's hard to tell what's going wrong.

With the 6.6 kernel likely you didn't remove the localversion part from the patch like I mentioned before. Probably you can also remove it from the kernel config menu.

If it's something else, you should provide logs

I've done based on what you said about installing X, and desktop got enabled using start X and linuxcnc showed up. hwoever its latency was really bad, something like 500 us. which it was probably because of not being real-time (without adding the rt patch that you mentioned)

After this, I used that patch that you said and I copied it to /patch/kernel/archive/rockchip64-6.12. However during this build I compiled it with XFCE Desktop. Now after compilation again it doesnt boot at all!!!
I'm trying to find out why it doesnt boot.
Or I can compile it without desktop (minimal) and install X to find out if the latency gets better or not.

Another thing that I did was, I added patch for 6.6.63 rt46 to my 6.6 kernel. but during the compilation I get some errors however it compiles without rt patch

@COFHAL: You didn't get it to work? I'll try to connect up one as I haven't tested it on this board. It may take a few days though.

@SOLD: Where do you need that extra speed in the Ethercat client? Anyways, it should work with the existing soes library. Check SPI settings, reset line pin, and the SYNC0 pin.

Unterschiede bei den Spannzangen: Baugröße, Rundlaufgenauigkeit, Spannbereich, Preis, Kegelwinkel, von vorne oder von Hinten spannend (Überwurf / Anzugsbolzen), Hersteller, Erfindungsjahr, geeignet für Innenkühlung (oder nicht), etc. ..... (von diesen Dingern gibt es x-Sorten) 

ER40 kann von 2 mm bis 32 mm spannen, je nach Spannzange. 40 steht für den Außendurchmesser der Spannzange. i.d.R kann die ER40 Spannzange ca. bis zu 1 mm Untermaß ausgleichen. (besser ist man nutzt das nicht komplett aus).

Wenn man von hinten an das Futter herankommt, kann man auch einen Einsatz für das ER Futter drehen. Das ist evtl. nicht super rundlaufgenau und hochpräzise, wenn selbstgefummelt. Die Einsätze von dem Beispielfoto funktionieren in meinem Fall zufriedenstellend, weil der Rundlauf nicht kritisch ist. Das gehärtete und geschliffene Spannzangenfutter war rel. billig, ER32, da war die halbe Vorrichtung dann fertig. Der Einsatz wird von hinten mit einer Schraube gesichert. Dabei fällt die ER-mutter vorne weg.



Wenn es sehr speziell ist, aber wenig präzise werden muss, dann kann man auch einfach beide Kegel selber drehen und hat "was eigenes"!

p.s. wenn so eine Art Einsatz mit der Überwurfmutter festgezogen werden soll, muss vorher überlegt werden, wie man den wieder herausbekommt. Das kann kräftig festsitzen. (es fehlt ja die Nut und man kann den Einsatz nicht in die Mutter "einclipsen")

its not working.
I named my pin_name "air" and checked the indicator_HAL_pin_option as well and its not showing me anything in the hallshow under qtdragon.

if i try to make this command

net coolant-air => qtdragon.air

its telling me the same error, that such a name does not exist.

I did compile successfully:
- Debian Bookworm
- Kernel 6.12.1 Real-time
- Minimal without desktop
- SPI Configured as desired
It boots up ok and I've installed linuxcnc too. however linuxcnc can't be opened cause no desktop.
Now how can I add linuxcnc to the build system, in order for after compiling linuxcnc be already installed and when system boots up, linuxcnc shows up without any desktop gui.

If you've done it correctly, after you chose the option that you want to see the kernel config, you'll see the option "Full preemption realtime" in General setup.
 

I wanna set the SPI settings before building, Can I do it by editing the dts files in the /patch/kernel/archive/rockchip64-6.12?
I wanna compile 6.12 kernel ( which is already real-time, right?)

The PWM circuit board of hm2_lite has only two pins: pwm.x.out and pwm.x.dir.
Can it be used to control the forward and reverse rotation of the servo motor and run in speed mode by analog voltage? With an encoder, can the xyz axis be controlled by pid?

Wow, danke für die Info! Ich versuche diese Woche mal alles zusammenzustellen, was ich bisher verstanden habe.

Dein Hinweis, dass das wirklich nicht die günstigste Lösung ist, stimmt schon. Ich hatte gehofft, dass ich für mein Werkzeug alles in allem mit etwa 500 € hinkomme. Vielleicht muss ich also woanders ansetzen.

Meine Drehachse ist für ein Tangiermesser gedacht, das sich in Schnittrichtung mitdreht, aber nicht wie ein Bohrer oder Fräser ständig um die eigene Achse rotiert. Mein Werkzeug ist ein Messer, das U-förmig ist und eingespannt werden muss.

Ich habe mir überlegt, dafür eine runde Aufnahme zu bauen, an der man das Messer seitlich befestigen kann. Diese Aufnahme würde ich dann in einen Schnellverschluss mit Überwurfmutter einsetzen – diese Lösung hat mir bisher sehr gut gefallen.

Das Ganze sollte schnell und einfach sein, da ich die Messer recht häufig wechseln muss, etwa 3 bis 10 Mal am Tag. Mit einem Schnellverschluss wäre das meiner Meinung nach gut machbar.

Mein Ziel ist es, ohne das Werkzeug, das ich selbst herstelle, unter 500 € zu bleiben. Vielleicht gibt es ja noch andere Ansätze, die besser oder günstiger sind.

Ach ja, das Messer bricht bei einer Belastung von etwa 50–100 kg.

Ich habe übrigens einen U-förmigen Draht, der hier als Messer fungiert.

 

Ich bin mir im Moment nicht sicher, warum ich in meinem obigen Beitrag die 42 angegeben habe, denn wenn mein Messer 15 mm breit ist, dann würde eine Aufnahme von 19 - 20 mm ausreichen. Vielleicht habe ich das zusammengezählt und bin auf 24 mm Durchmesser gekommen und habe mich verrechnet. (Ich ärgere mich über mich selbst)
