I am attaching two DEBUG files. The first is a FAILURE and the second SUCCEEDED. Looks as if the G43 is the difference. The failure is G43 Offset zero and then it succeeds with the G43 Offset of one(1) after I click start for the second time;

Okay, is qtplasmac built in to the basic config wizard now? Or do I have to download it or upload something for it?

These changes didn't help but, what does work is clicking on the "Measure/Probe Current Tool" button.

The latency error right after start you can ignore or it also still gives a following error?
In the latter case monitoring the uart output will help to see if the firmware and config work correctly

LinuxCNC-RIO - RealtimeIO for LinuxCNC based on FPGA (ICE40 / ECP5)

Category: Computers and Hardware

I made a post in the Classicladder Subforum. I believe I am a step ahead. The problem seems to be the activated Twopass option in the Ini. Not really sure how to work around that, but it feels like the solution is close.

Classic Ladder not working with LinuxCNC Rio

I tried putting the loadusr line in the posthui hal file. Did not work. I tried to put all 3 lines in the postgui hal file, did not work either.

The problem is, even in the postgui hal file, CL opens up, but the Axis GUI of the machine does not open up, until I quit the CL.

I feel like the solution is very close, I just don't know how to set up the starting sequence.

Hi Chris

In qtdragon the feedrate override value is displayed fine if only xyz axes are working, but if a rotary axis is added to it the value becomes useless because the angular values of the rotary axis are added to the linear values.

I think the angular values should be removed from "feedrate override".

It would be possible to calculate the linear speeds of the workpiece, but you would have to take into account the distance of the tool tip from the rotary axis, and the rotational speed of the axis. It gets even more complicated with two rotary axes.
Any ideas on how to do this?

Another minor thing is that the linuxcnc logo is not displayed in "setup"
it is displayed only after pressing "local files" and after pressing the return arrow.

If you forget something, you can use the wizard to edit that same config, or just make another one, you can have as much config as you like.

Parker Gemini GV Drive Software

Category: General LinuxCNC Questions

Hello,
First post on this forum so please go easy on me. LOL
This will be my 4th build, but this time I'm using Servos not steppers.
For now, I'll be using Mach3 - to get this up and running, then I'm very interested in learning Linux as a whole, then learning Linux CNC and using it on this machine.
That being said. The Parker GV drive Motion Planner is like learning Japanese when you're blind, deaf, and just came off a bender. I was told that there's software out there that is much easier to use to set up all of the parameters. Anyone know of anything?

Thx

thanks for the support,i also tried with remora-eth-3.0.c, unfortunately the thing is the same with nvem1 and nvem2 cards, latency error, while it knows the network, let me turn on the machine, but very soon a joint following error appears as well as a repeated loss of the network, it's not worth it, I'll try to restore the mach3 firmware.

How to configure pause/resume over pin 10 of parallel port?

Category: HAL

Each pin has a status LED on the PMDX-122 breakout board.

The CNC machine has no stepper drivers yet.

It does not actually move mechanically.
