QtPlasmaC updates - Master (v2.10):

• enhance cutcritical dialog with checkboxes for each untoggled button

[ATC_1] is not a recognized section name for the calibration tool.
It only works with '[TUNE]', '[JOINT_n]', '[AXIS_l]' or '[SPINDLE_n]' sections.

 

It should work with any version, I have used from 2021.2 to 2024.something

I hope to get some help from you again.
I tried to make a custom bit file consisting of these two files 7i96s_2pwmd and 7i96sd_mpgp1. 7i96s2pwmd for pwmgen (Stepgen 4-) and 7i96sd_mpgp1 for mpg on P1.
I used the enfinity software, but it doesn't work because of a version conflict.
Do you know which efinty version works with the 7i96s firmware from the homepage ? Thanks a lot

but i have no idea how to link this up... its complete new to me and i need help to do this.

i try a little bit.. but if i want to go from pocket 1 to pocket 2 i must count a hole 2 times in a spinning gear disc.

i dont know if INDEX is the correct mode.. i dont want that ou think i am stupid... but.. can we do this together? or is there someone who can help me?

The spindle mount is just something I came up with and made.  Right now it fits a cheap air cooled 80mm 2.2kw spindle, but I can fit a 100mm diameter spindle if I need to.  I machined a hole in the side of the spindle to feed the wiring out of and through the center of the side bearing.  I hope that will save me from tangling up the wiring.

ahh.. as explained in this thread, you have to press spacebar to actually select the locale in the sudo menu-config (ha ha)

by typing locale in the terminale, the newly set locale can be confirmed. I have fixed the locale issue now.

so back to the interface settings and network manager.. i still need help there. Thanks again to all!

Many users encounter issues when operating SCARA robots in real-world scenarios, including joint following errors, motor jolts, joint value shifts after homing, and the robot's inability to operate in negative space. These problems often stem from inaccuracies in the inverse kinematic equations. For example, modifying the home position to 30 in the SCARA configuration file (available at: github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/blob/master...vial/scara/scara.ini ) can cause joint 1 and joint 3 values to change after homing, leading to joint following errors or motor jolts.To address these issues, I created a modified version of the configuration. This version corrects the inverse kinematic calculations and includes adjustments to how the Z-axis is calculated for my specific use case.

i have run into a locale issue. what should be my locale set to? i am based in Germany. 
from Locales by Behai, i set up my locale as en US.UTF-8 UTF8
but the issue persists. 

and as i understand, you suggest to comment out the following lines in the interface file? correct? or will i also have to edit something in the Wpa supplicant? (once again i would prefer doing it through the menu-config)

with network manager installed, i cannot reach the network interface file like earlier. 
i tried to use
> sudo service NetworkManager stop
but then i cannot enter the network menu in the sudo menu-config anymore

to edit the file in the etc/network folder i cannot save whatever i have edited. and i would really like to edit it through the sudo menu-config rather than messing up any files manually through the filemanager
