Yes, hyper threading was on. I disabled it. Also turbo boost was on, now disabled. But there is very negligible improvement in latency.

However, should I set the IRQ affinity to CPU=1? It is a realtek network adapter inbuilt in motherboard.

Hal file issues ? Doubt it the compenent is loading and running (HAL Show config)

Measurement issues? Dito, attaching an oszi between ground and tx is not so a big deal.

Gcode parser

Category: G&M Codes

Hi,

I'm looking to understand how LinuxCNC parses G-code into commands. Could you point me to any documentation or resources that explain this process?

Thanks

Module ec_master not found in directory /lib/modules/6.1.0-25-rt-amd64

Category: Installing LinuxCNC

The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 3CB9FD148F374FEF
You have not set the public key for the LinuxCNC repository, it is on the page i linked
Getting the archive signing key

To use these packages on your computer, first add the buildbot archive signing key to your apt keychain by running this command in a terminal:
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keys.openpgp.org --recv-key EF1B07FEE0EE663E

(Key fingerprint = 4FA2 D1ED 5B2F 38AB 01A4 AB7E EF1B 07FE E0EE 663E)

(An alternative keyserver is keyserver.ubuntu.com)

If you get an error like "GPG: keyserver receive failed: No dirmngr" then install the missing dirmngr package by entering the following in the terminal:
sudo apt-get install dirmngr

If you get an error downloading the key it may be caused by being behind a firewall or a proxy server. Retry by specifying port 80 rather than using the default port (11371):
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keys.openpgp.org:80 --recv-key EF1B07FEE0EE663E

(An alternative keyserver is keyserver.ubuntu.com:80)

If you have successfully installed the key then close the terminal.

EoE Configuration

Category: EtherCAT

I'm working with 4 Rexroth servo drives that support EoE to be able to use the drive configuration software while the drives are configured for CoE.  I've been able to set the IP address info on the drives with "ethercat ip" and confirm on the drive control panel.  The eoe interfaces are created on the linux side for all 4.  I've tried various combinations of bridge, interface on linux directly, etc. but no joy in communicating with them so I must be missing something.  Does anyone have a working example of what they did on the linux bridging/routing side for EoE to work?

sorry not understand .... you suggest to leave out   "www.linuxcnc.org bookworm base 2.9-uspace" repo and add "buildbot"    instead?  After need to reinstall linuxcnc-ethercat think right?

Mesa 7i96s | Gmoccapy | Spindeldrehzahl regelt nicht

Category: Deutsch

How to install Lube.py?

Category: HAL

Hello, I see the post is a few years old, I'm still trying to get help here.
Our Emco is currently being rebuilt and that's how we came up with the lubrication cycle.

I tried to enter the lube.py into the hal according to the instructions above and only got the error
LINUXCNC - 2.9.3
Machine configuration directory is '/home/cnc/linuxcnc/configs/EMCO_120_CNC'
Machine configuration file is 'EMCO_120_CNC.ini'
INIFILE=/home/cnc/linuxcnc/configs/EMCO_120_CNC/EMCO_120_CNC.ini

i have done the file path in the .hal
 to
loadusr -W /home/cnc/Schreibtisch/EMCO_120_CNC/lube.py
I have done make it executeable and given all rights

and in the last section then will be the dbug information
Debug file information:
