this is my PDO for my drive, I've tried using several IDs in PDO, but it still doesn't work. Maybe it's probably due to the EoE issue you mentioned earlier. I'm currently trying to reinstall with EoE disabled as you suggested.

the manual is for a "slightly different" has no modbus information. my drive is called an HSD7000 and is a nearly identical clone of the innovance, but has modbus built in instead of on an add in card.

Hi,

Great job on this project, I am really impressed with all the tools and features that keep getting added.

I made a custom board based on the TangBob and I wanted to add it to the setup tool.
Do you have a tool for building the board.json or have you been making them by hand?

ok, sooo

function 3 reads a float and int (6 or 1)
function 1 reads a bit (true/false)
function 5 says illegal function (write coil)
function 6 says illegal data type

What is next to try? I rechecked the vfd settings, and its all "right". Also found out the params are registers (f0.04 = 0Xf004) so that neat. Not actually helpful though.

This is unrelated to the configuration; you need to modify the driver, Sii firmware, and disable Eoe.

ding ding. so 8192 IS run/stop. goes from 6 to 1. which is true/false im almost positive.

But i don't have a way to write it. every write command says illegal data or address or function (different ones give different errors).

Do i need to tell it it is a true/false register, and not an int/float? if yes, how? i do not see any syntax for that.

thanks for all the help so far, i feel like were getting close, AND i also understand things better.

From a postgui hal file are some flexhal pins set at startup, with setp. In halshow the value is set, but the spinbox is not populated with that value. How can i force the spinbox to update?

so we have 8192 to 8203. all 0 except 8192 which is 6, and seems not writable. others seem writable but do not induce any change.

i have an idea: i will turn the drive back to panel frequency and run control and see if i can see anything change
