I believe for that you need to set up a dummy Y axis in the INI file. So maybe you can give that a try before we start going down the kinematics path.Right so called up G10 L2 P06 R180 and it tells me " invalid parameters in linear command"
And "linear move on line 13 would exceed Y's positive limit " And I dont have a Y axis ???????

I copied X axis with similar limits , but could not open Gmocappy after that without error report .
Clearly my Ini Y axis was not acceptable
any pointers would be appreciated .
X and Z were originally set up using Stepconfig.

I could try to replicate them by making another attempt ?
or (thinking aloud) maybe I could see if I could do a stepconfig for a lathe with Y axis in order to give me some clues on a lathe with X,Y,Z, but from memory stepconfig for a lathe only permits X and Z.
Maybe a simpler option would be if joekline9 were prepared to share those elements of his INI file which make this work for him

So I seem to have managed to create a dummy y axis
Included the rotate command before the threading tool change and clearly the threading cut has gone to a front tool position on the screenshot but restarting at line 134 bring up the errors shown
Clearly I need to do something to overcome this Y axis error. Does this axis somehow need to be included in the homing process and if so how?
Will post ini and hal seperately
