Are you using any embedded programs?
If you erase the entry does it come back?
You must only hand edit preferences when Gmoccapy is not running.
The ones with a capital letter on the end word are from Gmoccapy:
system_name_G54 = G54
It seems the system entries preferences are checked at initialization and when the offsets tab is closed.

Yes. After erasing the duplicate entry, it comes back only after shutting down Linuxcnc.
I am editing the preference file only when Gmoccapy isn't running.
And the occurrence of this is very very random. At times, the duplication doesn't happen.

What version of linuxcnc are you using and can you post your INI file?

Using Linuxcnc 2.9.2. I am attaching the INI.
I have another system that runs on Linuxcnc 2.8.4, and it hasn't encountered this issue even once. Not sure if I am doing something wrong on the previous system.

Also do you ever run a different version of GMoccapy in the same folder?
Ie it may record things in the preference file.

The embedded panel is only for the zeroing of XYZ axes. No other functionality is being used with gladevcp.
I didn't run a different version of linuxcnc in the same folder, but I have copied my previous folder from the 2.8.4 machine to the configs directory, primarily to make similar changes to the .ini and .hal files.
No translations for text are being used.

It by me also stil happening.
with the same strange interval. i will look if there is by mee also a connection whenn jobs ar ready.

Have the same issue converting my config files from 2.8 to a 2.9 install.
I was guessing it might be from differences in the tool change files? But I can't really check about it -.-
