And what was the problem?

You could now consider using the 7i73 built-in encoders. Do you have a pin
hm2_7i76e.0.7i73.0.1.enc0.count ?
You can subsitute that anywhere that you now have encoder.0.count.
Then, if that works, remove the loadrt and addf for the software encoder counter.

Only place I have encoder.0.count is here

net encoder-counts <= encoder.0.counts >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> so replace with hm2_7i76e.0.7i73.0.1.enc0.count
net encoder-counts => joint.0.jog-counts axis.x.jog-counts
net encoder-counts => joint.1.jog-counts axis.y.jog-counts
net encoder-counts => joint.2.jog-counts axis.z.jog-counts

What lodart/addf needs to be deleted? Any setp/set for hm2_7i76e.0.7i73.0.1.enc0.count?

The loadrt / addf to remove are the ones related to encoder.0

But chck that hm2_7i76e.0.7i73.0.1.enc0 works first (ie, with halshow)
