Do you use a compiled RIP version or an installed version of linuxcnc?
If you compile your system, it would be easier to fork linuxcnc into your repository and work from there but we can do it another way:
In your config folder, you will see a folder named 'qtvcp'.
inside that folder you should see 'screens'
Inside the 'screens' folder you should create the woodpecker folder and add all the required files.
ie. ui, handler, images, tool_icons, helpfiles, (fonts?)
The folder you add should use the same base name as the screen code.
You can test it and when it work fine, that is the code I need.
Here is a look at the folders in linuxcnc:
github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/tree/master/share/qtvcp/screens
you will notice it uses the same pattern qtvcp/screens/<SCREEN_NAME>
This is what we need to do to add it to linuxcnc.

Created a folder as in the screenshot, deleted the previous one. The interface opens but it is not in the examples. What am I doing wrong?

If you decompose the files as in the screenshots, then everything works. Delete all old files. Thank you!
