Very nice.
I think you need to change the title of this thread Bengt.
It does not look low budget anymore!

Thanks guys.
To me this is low budget as almost all parts are more or less to no cost. So far only stepper-motors, connectors, THCAD300 and PSU's have been thinning my slim wallet.
Next is to get all wired up and start testing the PC/MESA 7i90HD. Then it is time to have a look at PlasmaC and most likely I will need some advice from you guys.
Will probably shrink down my mechanical size to 500x500 as I do not have the space for the planned 500x 1000 that will be a bit heavy and cumbersome for an old fart like me to move from storage to cutting. More details to come but still same design.

Two hinges can do wonders ! Bolt it to the wall and bring it down only when you need it, otherwise it stays there kissing the wall and out of the way. Will probably shrink down my mechanical size to 500x500 as I do not have the space for the planned 500x 1000 that will be a bit heavy and cumbersome .......

If it was that easy, I have no wall space to to that I will have to make a stand that will be outside all year around and the CNC-frame to be stored inside when not in use.

Well mesaflash is telling you in a rather terse way:
ERROR: you must select transport layer for board
did you try mesaflash -- help ?
