You may have to check with beaglebrainz, it seems he builds the LinuxCNC packages for this distro. Maybe he hasn't updated.


I think he did say that he generally does it at the weekend.. But thanks for the help I can wait.

When opening "software sources" from the administration menu:

The two flags, just click on them and choose what seems closer to you, let it update and close.
This has nothing to do with LinuxCNC updates, just Mint updates.

The two flags, just click on them and choose what seems closer to you, let it update and close.
This has nothing to do with LinuxCNC updates, just Mint updates.

You can leave the additional repo, or you can change it to the official LinuxCNC one from buildbot.linuxcnc.org

Unfortunately, I don't get an update from PlasmaC to the latest version v0.163 - 2020 Aug 18.

I always get the message:
"Upgrade not required from v0.144 or later"

What can i do?

That's just the configurator portion which does not require an update every time. In fact it should do this automagically if an update requires configurator to be re-run.

On your config tab, what version do you show there?
