Yep, no worries.

It is interesting that this is not touchscreen friendly but it is one of the few things I have done that works better into Gmoccapy than Axis. Unfortunately iin Axis it doesn't fill the tab. Another questions for Chris...

The Gmoccappy macros are quite good I have found. I think you can get it to ask you to enter values too. I just don't enjoy programming stuff like that in gcode.

I have been messing around with this and I got rid off the SET Origin button which leaves the Mark button and TO Origin button.

It works like before:
jog to an edge, in either the X or Y direction from the origin corner
press Mark
jog to the origin corner
press Mark
thats it, all done.

To reset the rotation to zero:
press Mark
press Mark
thats it, all done.

To move torch to origin position:
press TO Origin
thats it, all done.

The one thing I am not sure about is when resetting the rotation should it:

1. leave the origin coordinate where it is and just set the roation to zero
2. move the origin point to the current torch position and reset the origin to zero

My preference would be 2

Sounds great.

My thought would be option 1.

I think that if you are clearing the rotation, that sheet is cut so the next button to be pressed is probably load sheet.

eg. in a busy environment, you'd plonk a sheet down, align, it, cut it out, then load another sheet. You would not want to waste unnecessary time moving to the origin again. Which then raises a question, should load sheet also clear the rotation?

I wonder what the others think?

My thinking was that you would only need to clear the rotation when you want to set up a sheet that you know is square (or close enough for the new job) then all you do is move to the origin of the material and press the "Mark" button twice.

If you load a sheet that is not square then you need to do a correct jog, Mark, jog, Mark sequence regardless of what the rotation value is.

Like everything, probably comes down to personal choice. At least this way it is touchscreen friendly.
