Did you get 'matrixkins.comp' from the github page as linked in my last post?

Grazie. Allora userei p.7 per il segnale M8, p. 12 per PAUSE e p. 13 per RESUME.
Stasera faccio una prova, e poi faccio sapere.

Thanks for the tips. I deleted sl. Linuxcnc-dev, of course, is installed.

Appologies, it seems that 'matrixkins' is not in version 2.9 but in version 2.10.

you'll want to remove the link to 'maxkins'
Code:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 36 ноя 20 22:52 /usr/lib/linuxcnc/modules/matrixkins.so -> /usr/lib/linuxcnc/modules/maxkins.so

It should be possible to install 'matrixkins' using the 'halcompile' tool, this will require the linuxcnc-dev package though. To check if 'halcompile' is installed try
Code:
halcompile -h

if that works you can copy the contents from here:
github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/blob/master...ents/matrixkins.comp
to a file named 'matrixkins.comp', Then navigate to the location of the file in terminal and install it with:
Code:
sudo halcompile --install matrixkins.comp

If halcompile is not installed you would need to install the 'linuxcnc-dev' package:
sudo apt install linuxcnc-dev

NOTE though that I am generally unfamiliar with deb installs as I usually work with locally built installations so I'm not sure if installing 'linuxcnc-dev' will have any consequences to your current installation.

Yes sure, here is the code attached. Most of it runs on the timers (Block-no) and Sensors.
The temperature is not implemented in this version jet.
Mainly to control the piston (plunger) and the closing mechanics.

Here are the electronics to get an idea. Yes its messy/ unnecessary complex.

I tried it first, it doesn't show an error but nothing happens, and linuxcnc seems to freeze slightly, release the play button and nothing... I'll see now, maybe it's something to do with the python script or subroutine path, when i try in mdi o<rack_change> call or o<tool_getput_move> call i have this error.. I have no idea

Hi Tom, I did my 400E with Mesa 5i25 (PCI), 7i77, and 7i84,  but back then the 7i97 did not yet exist.

If I were starting again, I would use the 7i97 and 7i84. I hard wired everything in my Bedienpul. Today I would use a 7i73 to interface that.
Does your 400W4 still have the 18 speed gearbox, or does it use a big DC servo on the spindle with just a back gearbox?

I would also suggest you take a look at Peter (Talla83 on Youtube's) Pendant.

Peter hat die beste Mesa Info auf DE.
Cheers,
Mark

No idea why it was removed.

I've only been involved in creating the images from 2.9.4 and the above experimental image.

The 2.9.4 image is based on Bookworm & 2.9.7 is Trixie based.

Becouse of this speed-problem i had a look at the documantation for the INI.
There are many more questions, but maybe I found some answers.
  •  In [TRAJ] i lowered the DEFAULT_LINEAR_VELOCITY and MAX_LINEAR_VELOCITY
By the way, at the moment I do not check exactly how there where Velocity and acceleration-variables in TRAJ, AXIS_ and JOINT_
  • One more thing i found, was the DEADBAND = 0.0
In the documentation it means that this is the tolerance-variable for the PID if the position is between the tolerance.
So in my config this is 0.0 this should be to less an leads to "Servo Hunting"

It got to 3 now.
I also have the option to reset the vote and to change it. After changing need a refresh to be able to change again.

That would be correct, could it be, I guess only admins can reply to the topic, only admins can vote ?

I can see the poll results, but for the life of me can't see a way to vote.
Perhaps a screenshot may help some of us Luddites. ;)

Not the best suggestion if the user wants to be able to upgrade to 2.9 or 2.10.

Unless a user specifically wants to use the parallel or has an ancient PC it may not be the best suggestion .
It would also be worth noting that Debian wheezy is end of life, updates haven't been available for a few years. Also wheezy had Python2 so the upgrade path for Linuxcnc is rather limited.
So when recommending the Debian Wheezy ISO it would be best to mention these facts.
