What the heck. I've sent Chips (safely tucked away in his zip file) off to a graphic artist that is working for me at the moment and asked him to exactly replicate the LinuxCNC logo. I'm paying for this so it will be a donation to the cause... I know he will do a good job for me.

Well, I liked it enough to scratch it into my old bit box.

Cnc is serious business in every respect, especially for us who tear them appart and put them back, from electricity to high speed everything.
Having said that, i absolutely adore the cross eyed, short sighted, no-fly, birdie thingy.
I like the others too, but this one makes me laugh when i look at it, we really need more laughs.
Again thank you to whoever did that.

Well here you are guys. Vector based images (.pdf, .eps and .svg) of the lInuxCNC logo

Please review and let me know if any changes are required.
I think its important to remain consistent to the brand so here it is. So lets see it on a control panel or something soon.

Rod, this is great!
Several times I have wanted a vector version of the LCNC logo for some reason or other, and could never find one. We need to see about getting this added to the LCNC source on github, as that is the first place I (and I assume many others) would look.

Thanks for your generosity in getting this done, it is people like you that make the LCNC community what it is!

Kurt

I was having trouble keeping track of all the various LinuxCNC logos posed in this thread, so I organized some of them and created a github repo so I will have access to them when needed. I hope that is OK, if not I will be glad to take it down.

Here is the link: github.com/KurtJacobson/LinuxCNC-Logos

Thanks all for the significant work you have done to make these available!

Cheers,
Kurt

Hello All,

I really like LinuxCNC and i wanted a logo on my retrofitted DECKEL FP3 so everyone can see it. ;)
I liked the design of cvp83's daughter, so i converted it a little so its easier to cut it out of vinyl.

i hope someone can use it as well!

(i have the file in .dxf .svg and .sldprt[solidworksdoc] i am not sure if i can upload it here with my first post?)

Greetings from Bavaria!

Tom
