Hello,
on my Machine I do Jogging with external Buttons.
I select the axis with 3 Buttons and do the Signals to halui.joint.xxx.select
and the + and - Buttons goes to halui.jog.selected.plus and halui.jog.selected.minus
the pin halui.joint.selected shows 0 with x axis, 1 with y axis and 2 with z axis.
When I select x and jog than moves x-axis
When I select y then y moves.
But when I select z then y moves also and not z ?????
The halui.joint.selected shows 2
What is wrong?
Does someone have a idea?
this works under 2.5 the fault I see after update to 2.6
Best regards
Thomas

We would need to see your hal file to guess... attach it to a post.

I'm stumped... unless you maybe have two buttons pressed at the same time... dunno, everything looks good in your hal file. What happens when you comment out the Y axis jog enable, does Y still jog?

Sounds like the external button is wired to the Y axis and not the Z axis. If the jog buttons in Axis work properly but the external buttons do not it shows that from LinuxCNC to the drives is correct.

The wirin should be OK
I have 1 + button and 1 - Button,
I have 3 buttons to switch the AXIS ( X Y Z )
And the Signal halui.joint.xxx.is-selected shows the selectes Axis, only when 2 is selected Y moves

Are you using any feature in master that you can't run 2.5?
