one step closer to my final machine

okay while trying to flash the bitfile in the fallback eeprom i got an error:

error: wrong bitfile destination device: 6slx9ftg256, should be 6slx16ftg256

try refetching it, it should be fixed.

My build scripts at home were not synced to the up-to-date source so I had to futtz around a lot and busted some things

i am having trouble finding the correct Pins (a,b,z,pwm,dir,5v and gnd) on the boards. The manual says "the pins are like this but keep in mind it depends on FPGA configuration" and since i have a different bitfile flashed i dont think those pins are correct. Also HAL show doesnt give me the information i need. i would need a picture of the card with numbers on the hardware pins and HAL show say which pin functions are on which pin number.

okay found the problem, i had to switch the jumpers from down to up on the encoder ports

okay this thread is a bit old but i need one stepgen for testing. Maybe someone could modify the Bitfile for me?

Where does the stepgen go?
(which PWM channel does it replace)

i am currently using one 7i52s which is connected to P1 and would like the stepgen to replace channel 6 (...pwmgen.05...).
